gosh, I love that song by Colbie Calliet if you haven't heard it I highly suggest it....
My feelings lately have been somewhat different from my crazy, insanely fun self. I've had many different emotions lately, and while some may blame it on 'that time of the month' its untrue( I wouldn't look so loopy if I could just blame it on that) but things are getting better.... and worse at the same time. I've put some of my grumpy,tired issues aside and now I've got feelings/emotions of gratitude for all the blessings I have in my life. My life isn't as bad as I make it out to be.
Right now, the feelings I have are of inadequicy(sp) totally spelt that wrong, but Cora the Relief Society President is gone, and I've kind of been the one whos making sure no one goes less active, and the place doesn't get burnt down..so far so good.... I just really feel like there are so many more people that are more qualified for this position and I really don't know if I'm making the most of out the chances I have. I've been trying, but somehow I just don't feel like I'm quite measuring up. Sunday is the Presidency message, and its my turn to give the lesson, and normally I'll be thinking about my lesson for a good few weeks before, and normally I don't really get 'inspired' so to speak until a few days before. Well it's Thursday and I'm still not inspired, and I leave for Taber tomorrow at 4:30... does anyone see a problem with this? Cause I sure do! I've got a few ideas but nothing that "speaks to me" nothing that I really want to teach about. And I'm the teacher that teaches the emotional lessons about being Righteous Women, and Facing Adversity.... and I just don't know if I'm feeling up to one of those right now! I guess I'm not complaining right now, I'm not too sure how I feel right now. I'm thankful for the chance I have to serve in this calling, and I know I've come along way, and I know I will continue to do so.
On a side note, I get to hang out with the very pregnant Stacey Hall tonight, we're getting together after a very long hiatus. It's the last time we'll probably have to have a little girlies night before the little munchkin comes so we're taking full advantage of it! I'm excited to see her, and I'm grateful for the example she's been to me! I just love her!
Oh ya..... only 5 days til I get to see Harrison...no big deal!

Apparently I got something!
I just had a blogging buzz of energy... I just really feel bad not having pictures, and I know that I can go back and I can add them in later, but I've been trying to just do it all at once... only problem.... I only have time to really blog at work, cause I'm not home enough to blog and add pictures... bummer! I'll have to try and find time. i've been really alot better at taking pictures to ADD to my blog, I just have to learn to add them... So I'm going to do a little bit more updating I guess...
I've recently found a bunch of my friends blogs... and I would love to add them to my list, but the problem is, is I don't know how to make a list... how do I get peoples names to appear on the side of my blog?
Last night I went to watch hockey again... Travis is always the highlight of my week...hes my friend who doesn't really know how to play hockey... last night he played in jeans, an apx shirt, with NO hockey equiptment, and he was skating down the ice with his stick behind him HAHA!!! I love it! he's soooo funny.. we had to leave early last night because I was wearing shorts, and I was tired... I was almost grumpy tired so we left! We missed a brawl apparently... sad! Last night some of us girls went to go see the Ugly Truth.....HAHAHAHA! it was soo funny. I'm always reminding myself, of the main character in all these new movies... they're always socially awkward and really random, and that about sums me up in a nutshell....
Last night I was talking to a girl I played basketball with in highschool and it was really funny, cause we were "remembering when:" and seriously some of the things she reminded me of were classic and I can't believe I forgot about them. For an example,Cheryl reminded me of when I was in grade 12 we were at a basketball tourney up in Edmonton and it was after our first game we all went back to the hotel to shower before dinner, and I was sharing a room with Kessy, Diane and Blaire(whom I love DEARLY). I was in the shower, I slipped and grabbed the shower curtain and it came falling down on me and I fell and screamed bloody murder, and when someone screams everyone runs to see what happened right?? RIGHT well the bathroom door was unlocked and everyone came in to make sure I was ok, and here I was just getting up from slipping in the shower. The curtain was a clear one, and I was holding it up against me so no one could see anything and then blaire took a picture, and it turns out that I pretty much just should have been naked thats how much you could see.... hmm I still don't know where those pictures circulated too :s Then there was the YEAH TOAST song by bob and tom that we had to play before every day, we sand to spice girls during away games, and we played pranks when we were at tournements. Donna yelling at Kelsy for eating a footlong sub, soup and cookies right before a game... ahh the list could go on and on forever! -->but there was a reason for this, and the reason is, is I WANT TO COACH BASKETBALL!!! soooo when the school year starts up soon, I'm going to call a couple of the highschools within a short distance from my house and ask them if they need any coaching staff, I miss basketball, and I miss being in shape from basketball.... So I want to coach. I've coached volleyball ,and let me tell you I had so much fun. I'd start out with anything but I'd love to work my way up to coaching varsity. I obviously don't have the experience to coach that yet, even the assistant JV girls coach or something to just get my foot in the door... SOOOOO if anyone knows of a highschool here in Calgs that is looking for a basketball coach, send them my way! I promise I'm alot more responsible now than I was back in highschool! I will not try to convince my coaches son to sneak out of our bedroom window to go to the gas station across the street to get us junkfood cause our coaches wouldn't let us :)

I got nothing....
I know I really need to blog, but I'm just in a rut, I've actually done some pretty fun things lately, but I just haven't had the time/energy to blog about them. I've had some pretty wicked bbq's went to a few sweet parties, and stayed up way to late laughing my head off, getting kidnapped to almost BC cause Kman and I got lost trying to get to the Bishops house, Playing football and all that other wicked awesome summer stuff. I'm going home Friday to float down the Canal in Barnwell... its a classic activity for people around Taber, and it doesn't matter how old you are, its never uncool to float down it. I get to hang out with my lovely Kathryn who is home from BYUI for 7 weeks and I'm excited. It's never a dull moment with her. We stay up late talking/laughing, go for car rides, star gaze, talk about boys, and dress up :)

Opinion
....Ok, so I'm trying to decide if I like my hair short of if I want to grow it out again, and I'm hoping to be the person I want to be by April 2010(aka my hair the way I want/like it ie:long short etc, be back in shape) and I'm trying to decide weather or not I want to grow my hair out or keep it short... so I'm posting pictures and I want opinions. I will post more pictures of my hair short but these are all I have for now, so obviously I'll have more long haired ones to post, but don't let that sway your vote ;) thanks

Corporate Challenge
So everything is getting back to normal. I have been running 6 miles and biking 10 again, Life is good when I'm sweating :) That sounds werid but I love the way it makes me feel, and I love that I can actually do it. I also love that I'm doing it for a reason. --training for triathlons-- The Corporate Challenge--To get back in shape.
So a few posts ago I talked about the corporate challenge and how they've included every co. in the city, and about how I was SUPER gungho and signed up for a million events....well this last week and a half or so I've been recieving emails to get together our teams for practices....HA PRACTICE! I actually/honestly thought I'd just go the day of and play...none of this practice business... I play volleyball every week, its been a while since I've played basketball but it's not like I suck I'll just go shoot around on my own time... I run everyday so I don't need to go in a running group and bocce ball...haha seriously how do I even practice for that.... the only sport I think I'd need some practice at is, is the baseball...and thats just cause I haven't played in probably 10 years. Starting next week I'll have two practices a week for various sports, its not manditory that I go, but it will be good added workouts everyday, so whats the harm... meh! I say bring it on, and I'm stoked!
Last night at institute I was "trying to hear what wasn't being said" aka recieve some revelation, and we were talking about the plan of salvation and how right now those that pass on are in the spirit world, and are either in spirit paradise or spirit prision waiting for the ressurection ...got me thinking about how much Temple work needs to be done in my family, so tonight after work I'm meeting the family history person in my ward to do some family history. My aunt has done alot of it, but I know of alot of work that hasn't been done yet. I'm going to start with my grandparents that have died and try to work back from there. I don't know very much about either sides of my family so this could potentially be a difficult task, but I guess we will see tonight. I've never had a strong desire to do Family History but I do now.... I guess if I'm going to the Temple every month I might as well do someone in my families work. :)

Admitting......
Well Ladies and Gents, today I did something I've never done before... I admitted to a person I DON'T KNOW at all that I blog stalk her... and she became a follower on my blog...and she didn't block me and go private so I think I might have just made a new friend. Hopefully she doesn't think that I'm a creeper or that I'm too boring!
I will admit that I've been a little bit of a Debbie Downer lately... and I'm sorry for that, but you know what sometimes life just blind sides you, and it takes you a few minutes to catch your breath...but guess what.... I caught my breath, and I'm taking baby steps, and things are looking FANTASTIC. I'm losing myself in the work of the Lord right now... I've been staying pretty busy with serving, and getting back into my GROOVE! Now that I'm back life is good, things are GREAT, and I'm really happy! I've gotten rid of all the crap in my house(food wise) I've been making my lunches, I've been balancing my time between social/gym/training time and I've been trying to get in alot of sleep!
Another Reason I am sooo happy is because in 22 days my best friend in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD Harrison Bateman returns from serving the Lord down in South America and I couldn't be more thrilled. He is one of the most amazing examples to me! He's awesome. I love that kid, and I can't wait to see him!

Good NEWS!
...... so here it is...ready?!?! DUN DUN DUN!!! I found my computer cord for my camera.... HALLEJUIAH! I can now add more pictures alot easier to my blog and to fb. My laptop has been acting super werid lately and it hasn't been working the best so it TAKES FOREVER to download pictures and I just couldn't be bothered...now all I need to do is find time outside of work to do it! hmmmmmm well one problem down, one to solve!
I had a good weekend, I went diving with my dad on Saturday in Waterton, I loved it, it was amazing and I forgot how much I missed diving.. We have plenty more trips planned this summer... and some pretty funny stories from this last dive..(I'll share the story then upload pictures when I get home) So my dad let me lead the dive, but the only problem is, is I don't have a compass on my gauges, nor do I even know how to use one(after 11 years of diving, I still don't know how to use a compass under water) Or above water for that matter... anyways so we went out off the dock and followed the sandbar around...played with drift wood, found some tresures(fishing lour's, 25 cents, and golf balls...) I was having boyancy problems so I was putting alot of air into my BC to compensate which was draining my tank, and I was diving with a short tank so I had about 3200psi....so we started to head back and(one thing you should know about me, is I get distracted easily, anyone who knows me knows this is true, but its even more so underwater) everything down there is just sooooooo cool so I just follow things. I saw a massive school of fish that were about 12 inches long each, so I started following them(since I was leading the dive I assumed my dad was following me...) W.R.O.N.G and by the time I realized he wasn't with me....I was lost...and I was pretty deep...so I made my accent(which has to be done right or else it will make me sick) so by the time I got up to the surface to see where I was I had 1000psi left.... and I was C L E A R on the other side of the lake....whoops:s HA! So, I went back down but stayed at about 15 feet incase I ran out of air it wouldn't take long for me to get to the surface.... I was almost at the dock and I saw my dads tank so I went up to him....boy was he pissed I got a double fist(which means REAAAALLY pissed, in underwater lingo) So we finished the dive and laid around in the water for a little while to cool off.... it was a good dive, and I even got my dad to admit it wasn't my fault I got lost :) he was supose to be following me!
Here's another story that is a little embarassing, but I finally found the WATERTON WHALE! As I was making my way back to the dock alone I looked up and saw a MASSIVE shadow going over top of me, and I momentarily forgot where I was and thought it was a whale swimming overtop of me... and boy did I scream(yes you can scream under water, and my reg fell out of my mouth, it dropped and I had a heck of a time finding it) but it scared the crap out of me. It's a pretty funny story but when I got to the dock I wanted to flip that canoe. They kept swimming around my bubbles and I just wanted to flip em'
We went into town after the dive to grab some dinner and do some shopping and we saw Trish, Shand and Rachel, boy oh boy is that little girl ever the cutest thing ever! She looks just like Trish did when she was that age! She's sooo smart and super sassy! I love my family!

The kind of day I had.....
Yesterday, by the end of the day I was exausted..... JUST EXAUSTED! I barely got my lazy arse outta bed, I was going to be late for work(I was late for everything yesterday) I finally got out of bed yesterday at 7:15 which is an hour later than I should, washed my face, brushed my teeth and left, I parked at the Hospital yesterday so that I wouldn't be too late.... I go throughout my day, I was leaving work, I get on my shuttle to bus me to my lot.... and everyday when we're pulling into my lot I have to think in my head "Where did I park" so I know what side to get off, and then it DAWNED on me...... I PARKED AT THE HOSPITAL....so I had to embarassly ask the bus driver when he's going back to the Hospital because I parked there, he told me it happens alot more that people think it would, but I'm pretty sure the creepy man was just being nice to me! Needless to say, when I finally got home I definately took a nap, which made me late for going to meet Shannon to go get our stampede gear.....WHICH LOOKS HOTT by the way. I found a cowboy hat for $14 bucks, and I got a cute plaid blue shirt for 20 some jean shorts and a plaid scarf...woohoo! I think I might go back at get a couple more shirts just because I'm allowed to wear cowboy stuff to work ALLL WEEK!

I am behind in......
1. Cleaning my Room, my room looks like a disaster, but its all clean clothes...so I might have to wash them again....

A Promise is a Promise
I HAVE PICTURES of July 1st! I don't have them with me right now, I need to wait until Mandy sends them to me, so I will wait to blog about my Canada day until she sends them(which I hope is soon) But I need to blog about something else...
**side note, it seems like whenever anything funny happens to me these days the first phrase that comes out of my mouth is: "I'm going to need to blog about this" So in true fashion... this story NEEDS a blog :)
I will not be able to do this story justice, it was really one of those moments where you HAAAD to be there! There were times yesterday where I thought about what happened Tuesday night and BUSTED out laughing....huge gut wrenching BELLY laughs! haha! :)
Tuesday nights our friend Jordy plays Mens League Hockey with some APX boys, and he invited Kman to play, and after alot of convincing on Jordys part he decided to play and so Mandy and I went to watch them with Jordys dad Ted who is in town visiting for a few days, and the game didn't start til 11:30(good thing I didn't work yesterday) Kyle hasn't played since before his mission so he was a little nervous and didn't want us coming, but of course we did :)-- and he's really good, so is jordy...they're the best players out there..... Our OTHER friend TC on the other hand was a totally different story :) HAHAHA!! Now, I feel like I can share these stories for the simple fact that TC knows he sucks(I think) Let me paint a picture of this kid--
--He could barely stand on solid ground in his skates

Ok, so bear with me this might be a long post....
--He can't stop and so everytime he would be skating and the play would start going the other way he would have to run into the boards and then turn around to go the other way, and so he was ALWAYS on the opposite side of the play
--He came putting along slowly behind Kman and knocked his stick up with his stick but he barely touched it
--Everytime he got into a play down where he would get the chance to score he would stand in the blue goalie crease( I don't know much about hockey but I'm pretty sure thats not allowed)
--He tried to fight kman so kman pushed him over with his hand and he flipped over and hit his head on the ice, got up,looked at me and Mandy and started wooohoooing at himself
--He fell and lost his stick couldn't get up so he crawled over to it and one of the other guys kicked it farther away.
--He fell and Kman was standing right beside him and he grabbed kman to try and get up, and kman pushed him over again..HAHA soo funny
--At the end of the game he was standing in the goalie crease and his skate knocked the puck into the net and he went NUTS, he thought he was just the greatest....He's still talking about it, it's like a fishermans fish stories, they get more and more eggagerated the more times he tells it. He came out of the locker room strutting his stuff.... I couldn't help but laugh.....
I was worried Jordys dad was going to think we were rude girls, but by the end he was cracking up with us!
My fave quote of the night came from Kman, when he said " Lachele, you can't carry my bags, the other boys will think I'm a faggot." HAHA! I was just trying to be nice since earlier that night he same I was mean!

**side note, it seems like whenever anything funny happens to me these days the first phrase that comes out of my mouth is: "I'm going to need to blog about this" So in true fashion... this story NEEDS a blog :)
I will not be able to do this story justice, it was really one of those moments where you HAAAD to be there! There were times yesterday where I thought about what happened Tuesday night and BUSTED out laughing....huge gut wrenching BELLY laughs! haha! :)
Tuesday nights our friend Jordy plays Mens League Hockey with some APX boys, and he invited Kman to play, and after alot of convincing on Jordys part he decided to play and so Mandy and I went to watch them with Jordys dad Ted who is in town visiting for a few days, and the game didn't start til 11:30(good thing I didn't work yesterday) Kyle hasn't played since before his mission so he was a little nervous and didn't want us coming, but of course we did :)-- and he's really good, so is jordy...they're the best players out there..... Our OTHER friend TC on the other hand was a totally different story :) HAHAHA!! Now, I feel like I can share these stories for the simple fact that TC knows he sucks(I think) Let me paint a picture of this kid--
