Well... here is a little update for you.

-I'm in my house now. Lovin' life. My last roomie moves in today.

-It's my half birthday today-goin' to go celebrate with Channing Tatum. He's taking me to see a movie...Captain America anyone? Then we're going to go summer bash it up at a party in the south. No biggie.

-I'm finally getting over a 4 week chest infection that took 2 rounds of antibotics to clear up. <--- I always get sick this time of year.

-I played basketball last week, I played football earlier this week, and I played volleyball last night. My life is Fantastic!

-I've finally found someone in Utah to do my hair for Tiff's wedding in Sept. Thanks Kailey you're a doll. Can't wait to see you.

-Tomorrow I am spending the whole day floating down the river, then we're all headed back to our house for a bbq/bon fire. I <3 summer nights.

-I've been REALLY secretive lately. No one knows where I'm going or who I'm with Fact: it's been kind of fun being all mysterious. I may keep it up. ;)

-I haven't taken very many pictures lately :( I need to find my camera.

-The only reason I haven't blogged in a long time is not because I've been to busy having fun(well, I have been busy having fun...but you can always find time to blog, it's because we don't have internet at our house yet) boo.

-Next week it'll be a YEAR since I wrecked my knee. This year has gone by so fast. I sure hope the next 5 months go by really fast too *no reason in particular ;)


I feel like this is the lamest blog post ever. But I figure since I check my blog reader everyday, I might as well update something. I'll hopefully have more pictures next time. Cross your fingers.

what goes around comes back around!

Alright. So. You know how many of us(okay maybe just me) use to make fun of the kids on the play ground who couldn't play outside and run around because they had asthma and didn't have their puffer?

well.....

Karma just bit me in the badonk-a-donk. Rude!

I've had a chest infection for the last 3 weeks. For the last week I haven't been able to sleep(so I've been uber grumpy) AND. over the course of the last few days everytime I would eat, I'd gag and end up throwing up(tmi? yah well... atleast I didn't tell you what I had for lunch yesterday) Finally. I'd had enough. I needed to go to the Dr <-----woah. You know when I go to the Dr that there is something wrong.

Well. I have a serious chest infection. AND. A case of Adult onset Asthma. I'm on an antibotic and he gave me my very first puffer. Last night the missionaries came over for dinner, and the one was really funny. I started laughing, then started choking, THEN I started tearing and I couldn't breath. WOAH!. So I had to take it for the first time. The Dr said that once I'm not sick anymore I'll only need it when I play sports(which I get to start soon, because I now have my knee brace)




Everyone that I've told(the 4 people) have laughed at me and said that karma has finally come around to bite me in the butt. After the years in Elementary school making fun of the "bubble-kids" I am now a bubble-dult"

I'm moving into my new house tomorrow. I'm so excited. The boys are coming over to move me after we clean the chapel. Then I'm going floating down the river. Sounds like a pretty good Saturday to me- but I'm not sleeping at my house tho. Laura isn't staying there until Sunday night AND I can't sleep alone in a new house. It creeps me out.

P.S-- Who wants to come live with me for the first two weeks in August? 2 of my roomates are EFY councillors and they won't be around. Scary.

Having a hard day!

The last few days have been hard. I've been questioning a lot of different choices I've been making recently, and a lot of different things going on in my life that I thought were right. I guess when you're trying to do the right thing, and you're trying to be obedient and listen to different promptings you're going to start seeing a lot of opposition in ALL things.

Boy have I been feeling opposition. I guess it also doesn't help that I've had this nasty chest cold/infection for the last 2 almost 3 weeks and I've been living off Neo-Citran. I haven't been sleeping well, I haven't been able to eat very much because after I eat I get this nasty cough that gives me a headache for a couple hours. So it's just easier not to eat. :( sad day.

ALSO, tomorrow night is the backstreet boys/new kids on the block concert and I still don't have tickets yet. I don't have anyone to go with. If I can't find anyone today. I am buying a SOLO ticket...and going alone. Cause let's be honest. I can sit there and take pictures of myself while enjoying the HECK out of them. Just sayin'

Aside from having a couple crappy days. I've beem doing alot of fun things. I went to the Stampede on Saturday night with my friends to listen to the band mother mother. So good. Amazing actually. I wanted to get in the mosh pit with Andrew, Jon, and Carlos but Michelle doesn't like that thing and I promised her I wouldn't leave her. I also had my very first ever deep fried oreo. So good. However, my stomach hurt instantaniously and was not impressed with my food choices all day Sunday as well.

I also went to spoon me with a bunch of my friends for Jennas birthday. I just found these two pictures and they made me happy. I love this girl. Carrie is probably by far one of the funniest people I know. And. She thinks I'm absolutely hilarious. She just laughs at everything I say. I've almost made her legitimately pee her pants on more than one occasion. Most recently was sunday when I broke her bed, while dramatically talking about a boy problem. HA.

Isn't she just so adorable? Aren't these pictures super cute. I want some chairs just like these ones.

Stampede Breakfast TBCC Style

Love love love my department. We seriously have so much fun. Themed potlucks(did I ever blog about the mexican potluck...where we dressed up like greasy mexicans-not all are greasy) But. We. WERE.

During stampede there are all sorts of Stampede breakfast, lunches and dinners. You can legitimately eat for free for the next 10 days 3 meals a day. However. The hospital is a little *cheap* okay. Alot cheap. so they make us pay 2 bucks for breakfast. Since we're all cheapo's and the food isn't usually that good. So we made our own. This is what I just ate for breakfast-and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be full for the next two days. So delish.






I always talk about my magnet collection.
Anytime anyone goes anywhere I ask them to bring me back a magnet. I have a board on my bulletin board where I stick them. Please look how amazing it is. Who wants to send me a magnet from wherever you live? I'll send you one from Canada(boring I know, but it's all I got) . Please. Please. Please. I'm in desperate need of more. I'm barely winning the magnet collecting competition in our office(yes, we have a competition)

Royal Arrival.....

This what I look like when I get home at 2am, and have to get up at 6(but really roll out of bed @ 6:50 and have to leave my house 6:55-true story). Look at my cute little hat. It's in honor of the Duke and Dutchess who are in Calgary this very second. They'll be arriving at the Hospital later today. Let's hope I see them. *cross your fingers*

Tomorrow is the Stampede Parade. If you don't know what the Stampede is. Google it. It's the greatest outdoor show on EARTH! I have tomorrow off. Parading, tanning, floating down the river and tons of fun. Another good ol' long weekend in YYC.

My friend last night was making fun of me saying I NEVER work because I've had so much time off this month....pch!

I hate games....

Okay. There are some games that I like.

like basketball games. football games. water games. some card games

but not:

Waiting games.

or.

Relationship games.

I am currently doing both-and it's stressful.

Roomie 1 and I went to view a few more houses yesterday. We weren't super stoked for it because the day before's attempts were horrible. Less than motivating. Long story short. Our friend Chase rents from a lady(craziest lady ever. I wish I would have taken a pic with her) like 70+ years old(we will when we move in). She owns 10 properties and thought it was hilarious that we were trying to sweet talking her. Her favorite phrase was "worst case senario".....then proceeded to try to sell us on these other properties she had *ghetto ones super far away*.

This house was perfect. 4 bedrooms. 2 living rooms. 2 bathrooms. Huge yard. Fire pit. Games room. TONS of storage. Cute neighbourhood. And. Best. of .all...within our price range. We called Roomie 2(Vanessa) who still lives out east and I was trying my damnest not to pee my pants laughing while Alice was talking to Vanessa. We sent pictures to Roomie 3(Jenn). We promise to share them WHEN we get the house. We're still waiting to hear back from her. Some dumbies tried to buy the house right before we got there. **Everyone is invited to our party** Cause of course we're going to be having parties left right and centre

Alice told us she liked renting to Mormons. We don't drink, smoke, or do drugs, and we're not hardcore partiers. <--- Chase told us she loved Mormons. Yay us. But the next thing she asked us made me pee my pants laughing.

*please imagine an old lady(with a crude sense of humor/vocab) wearing pleated khaki pants that are floods,an old shirt with an eagle on it and a sun visor, with her old grey/white hair all over the place*

Alice: Are you guys healthy eaters?
Us: yah pretty much.
Alice: k good cause the last guys that lived here weren't...and they plugged my toilets.

HAHAHAHA. I died laughing.

We promised she could come to our first roomie dinner, and we'd bake her cookies all the time.

Yes. Yes. we did try to bribe her with food.

Things I have learned this summer(thus far):

-Moving out was the BEST thing I could have ever done.(even tho I am still currently homeless after Aug 1) *the house gods hate Laura and I right now.

-My roommate Laura will always ALWAYS love me, and ALWAYS be on team Lachele, and subsequently so will BigJ ;)

-I’m not allowed to hate people because of something shady they did in my dream. Sorry BigJ

-I need to take more pictures so my blog stops sucking the big one.

-I’m going to meet Prince William and Kate on Thursday! Watch out we’re going to be BFF’s

-I love having a stay-cations, I will be having more this summer.

-Floating down the river with 15 of my friends is the BEST way to spend a Saturday afternoon..

-I’m not sure I can get a whole lot tanner, I’ve tried.

-Spoon Me is now in CANADA, and I’ve had in twice in the last two weeks(don’t even judge me)

-Trying to plan the BEST day never works, it’s the unplanned ones that turn out to be the best.

-I’ve got some pretty awesome friends.

-My parents rock.

-Stampede is just around the corner and apparently all morals go out the window. SCORE…*shakes head*

-Backstreet Boys and NKOB are going to be here in Tminus 1 week. I’ve seen both of them in the last year. But seeing them TOGETHER will make my 12 year old heart scream and cry so loud.

-I’m excited for the summer. *I’m not too sure why, because if the last 3 weeks will be any indication of a lot of the things to come I’m in for big trouble in little China.* Maybe even heart ache (cross your fingers that doesn’t happen)

-Life jacket tans are the worst. Good thing I’m fast like a rabbit and avoided a $500 ticket like 4x already.

-Motorcycles scare me. My friend was in an accident last week and had to have her right leg amputated. Please be careful.

- rafting down the river tomorrow is the only thing helping me get thru today(and tomorrow).
