Sunday Night Trip to Emerg.....

:) Well.... I supose you'd like to know WHY I went to Emerg on a Sunday! Well... I'll tell you. I was minding my own business yesterday just napping and I hear huge HUGE commotion and banging coming by the stairs. I live with the most accident prone person in the City of Calgary, she's a nice girl.... I don't really know her...but she's a clutz... She fell UP the stairs, and stubbed her toe on a box on the stairs.

1st- She had no reason to be going up the stairs the only thing that is upstairs are my bedroom and my other roomates room, so she had no business being up there.

2nd- she tripped UP the stairs.

3rd- She made me investigate her toe, I had a hard time keeping a straight face inbetween the moaning, and the groaning that she was doing. HA. She stubbed her toe, and ripped the toenail part off... I told her to put some ice on it, elevate it and take some advil...

20 minutes later........

L- I think I really need to go to the hospital, will you take me please...
Me- Are you kidding me? They won't do anything for you...
L- I REALLY just need to go....
Me- Alright...

** I go get changed, then I tell our other roomate where we were going...oyi! We call L's brother..he comes(really) errrrrr alright **

I go pull my jeep around front and shes waiting outside with CRUTCHES! Oh man, I died laughing(you all might think I'm rude, and unsympathetic, but thats not the case) she was milkin' it for all it was worth! And I don't buy it :) We drive to the hospital.... I drop them off and go to my friends....

I get home later that night...
Ask what the damage was........ She sprained her big toe, is off work for a WEEK, and got heavy duty pain killers.

** Maybe I should take some tips from her, I could use a week off work **
